David Rios Ferreira has exhibited in galleries and museums in the US and abroad, including CoCA Seattle, Nemeth Art Center, Minnesota and Kunstraum Richard Sorge Gallery, Berlin. He has held residencies at the Lower East Side Printshop, the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts (EFA) and The Center for Book Arts. He was named an Emerge Artist Fellow by Aljira, a center for contemporary art and is a grant recipient of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Rios Ferreira is an Innovative Cultural Advocacy Fellow of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute and was most recently selected for the Artist In the Marketplace Program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts. Exhibitions include Double Visions, at EFA, his debut solo exhibition Ni de aqui, Ni de alla at Rush Arts and an upcoming 10th anniversary Sunroom Project at Wave Hill. David Rios Ferreira was born in Bronx, NY and received his BFA at The Cooper Union.
